Dreeem Lab, located at the [SLEEEP Shine], is a living lab equipped with state-of-the-art apparatus to would help you understand your own well-being from your sleep quality.
In collaboration with the University of Hong Kong, utilising Finnish technology from our partner [Emfit], our studies explore the information your sleep tells us. Each “sleep” at our lab helps yourself to understand your lifestyle better, and gives us new solutions to improve sleep.
The environment
Forget your impressions of cold laboratories, because Dreeem lab is nothing like that.
As a living lab, Dreeem lab as a research centre is infused with humanity, where people becomes the core of our studies. We provide homey environments with the help of [Sinomax] and our [REM] technology, making sure you, as a participant, are able to sleep in an environment approximate to that you’re used to or explore new and better environments catered to your needs.
Feeling tired even with plenty of sleep?
Sleep Apnea is often the reason for bad sleeping quality and it affects almost one-fifth of the Hong Kong population. While sleep apnea could not only lead to fatigue, it may also cause other serious illnesses such as hypertension and cardiovascular diseases without proper treatments.
However, with no clear symptoms (yes, not everyone with sleep apnea snores), it often goes unchecked. Fret not! One of the sleep tech at our lab, the [Belun ring], we are able to diagnose sleep apnea, with just one simple sleep.

In approximately with Dreeem Lab, are our ROOOMs. A soundproof area designated for you to focus on yourself, to breathe, to relax. Now, we also installed VR gaming consoles, quality hifi, as well as a mini cinema within.
Comparative studies on brain-wave patterns would be conducted here. We’ll be able to see how brains function differently, whether during engagement in immersive entertainment, or a deep complentative meditation. These collected data will be compared with the data of a sleeping mind, paving the way for bettering your sleep habits.
